Senior Specialist, Digital Marketing

As a Senior Specialist, Digital Marketing, you will become part of Fazer’s Digital Marketing community and work in close collaboration with the Fazer Confectionery brand marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution and performance of digital marketing for selected Fazer Confectionery brands in Finland, ensuring that campaigns, always-on content and digital channels are effectively planned, delivered and optimized using data, content and marketing technologies.

Your key tasks will include:

Leading the digital execution of brand campaigns together with media and creative agencies

Acting as a digital marketing expert and sparring partner for brand managers in planning and executing 360° digital campaign activations (incl. social media, influencers, MyFazer, gamification, websites and SEM)

Producing and coordinating engaging, on-brand social media content for brand channels,

Measuring and analyzing digital marketing performance, building clear reports and presenting insights and recommendations to brand teams and other stakeholders

Building and utilizing first-party data audiences and supporting the execution of data-driven marketing initiatives.

Staying up to date with emerging digital marketing technologies, social media trends and best practices, and sharing insights to strengthen Fazer’s digital marketing capabilities.

You will work closely with the Fazer Confectionery brand managers, supporting their brands’ digital marketing and ensuring digital channels are fully integrated into brand activations and campaigns. You will also collaborate with the Group-wide Digital community and external digital partners, including media and social media agencies, to continuously optimize digital marketing spend and campaign performance.

This is a one-year fixed-term maternity leave cover starting in spring 2026 and located in Vaarala, Vantaa where we work mainly on-site. You will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Fazer Confectionery, Lifestyle Foods & Group.Why choose Fazer?

The role in question is a salaried position under the collective agreement for salaried employees in the food industry. The base salary of this position is between 3800 € - 4700 € / month depending on the knowledge and professional experience of the selected candidate.

This role is eligible for annual bonus plan (as confirmed each year separately by Fazer) with a target level earning potential of 10 % of annual salary. We are looking for a hands-on, commercially driven digital marketing professional who combines creativity with analytical thinking. Understanding how digital marketing, social media and content contribute to brand performance and business results is key to succeeding in this role.

You enjoy working both strategically and operationally, turning campaign ideas into effective digital activation and continuously optimizing performance through data and insights. Demonstrating a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, you thrive in a continuously changing environment. Your organizational awareness and influencing skills help ensure strategies are effectively translated into action.

Your skills and qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience in planning and executing digital campaigns for consumer brands, including working with internal and external stakeholders including working with media agencies, defining KPIs, analyzing campaign performance and translating insights into optimization actions. You have the experience-based confidence to also challenge agency recommendations when needed.

In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, especially Meta and TikTok (organic and paid)

Experience working with influencer marketing or creator collaborations, including understanding how influencer content contributes to brand campaigns and social media performance.

Fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English.

Ability to translate brand strategies, campaign objectives and KPIs into effective digital activation, content concepts and channel plans.

Hands-on experience in channel-native content creation and adapting campaign assets for digital and social media environments.

Strong ability to analyze digital marketing performance, generate insights from data and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
