Grow with Treefera

Treefera is a first-mile intelligence platform providing visibility into global agricultural and soft-commodity supply chains. The Senior AI/ML Engineer will build models and pipelines that turn weather and satellite data into environmental risk and market signals customers can use.

What you’ll do

• Build forecasting models for agricultural stress, weather and climate volatility, and own their performance in production.

• Extend pipelines that ingest, standardize and analyze weather and Earth-observation data.

• Develop vegetation-stress, land-cover and land-surface signals from optical and radar satellite data.

• Move research from prototype into reproducible production systems and customer data deliveries.

• Improve experiment design, evaluation, documentation and communication of uncertainty across technical and commercial teams.

What you bring

• Experience building deep-learning or statistical models for time-series or spatial data.

• Fluency with Python scientific tools such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, SciPy and xarray.

• Experience with reproducible development practices, experiment tracking, orchestration and cloud infrastructure.

• Ability to investigate data, explain assumptions and communicate uncertainty clearly.

Weather and climate data, remote sensing, risk modeling, or commodity-market experience are useful. This is a full-time hybrid role in London. The employer notes candidates typically need the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not generally available.

Compensation: £85,000–£100,000 annually, plus equity and bonus.
