Job Summary
IFF is a global leader in providing solutions for the dairy industry, is seeking a dairy technologist. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your skills and foster both professional and personal growth. The primary objective is to produce product samples in our pilot plant, that showcase the impact of our product portfolio and process parameters to our customers, as well as support the development of new solutions.
The ideal candidate is a professional with a background as a dairy or food technologist or similar field. The ideal candidate brings valuable experience from the dairy or food industry. The candidate will join our dairy application group and be a member of a dedicated team in the Istanbul Dairy pilot plant.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce product samples in close cooperation with our application specialists.
- Daily maintenance of equipment and ensuring compliance with our GMP standards.
- Perform evaluation/analysis, report writing in collaboration with the application team
- Support application specialists with process knowledge.
- Contributing to maintaining a safe, efficient working environment
- Continuously adding new capabilities and skills to the technical team
Our pilot plant is a hub of innovation, covering a wide range of dairy applications, including dairy drinks, creams, fermented products. Our solution portfolio includes a broad range of solutions including stabilizers/texturizers, emulsifiers, hydrocolloids, flavors, plant proteins, cultures, and enzymes.
Key Requirements
- Educational Foundation: Degree in food or dairy technology, engineering, mechanical or a related qualification.
- Industry Experience: Practical background from the food industry an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with processing/analysis equipment.
- Working style: Works well in teams, ability to keep structure of data and work accurately.
- Good level of MS Office knowledge
- A positive attitude combined with curious and creative mindset
- Language Proficiency: Skilled in English
