- Develop and oversee the pricing strategy based on competitive analysis,
- demand-supply factors, and business objectives.
Business Development & Client Acquisition:
- Drive new client acquisition across processors, traders, exporters, and Agri
- ECommerce players.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with key decision-makers to
- enhance sales conversions.
- Lead negotiations and contract finalization, ensuring profitable deals and
- long-term partnerships.
Sales Performance & Revenue Growth:
- Oversee sales targets, develop KPIs, and ensure achievement of revenue
- goals.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, generate reports on market positions, and
- analyze profit & loss impact.
- Optimize sales funnel performance, ensuring strong lead conversion rates and
- customer retention strategies.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence:
- Conduct market mapping, and competitive benchmarking
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and industry developments in order to
- refine go-to-market strategies.
- Gather structured feedback from customers, trade partners, and internal teams
- to enhance sales strategies and product offerings.
Stakeholder & Compliance Management:
- Manage key relationships with regulators, industry bodies, and corporate
- partners to navigate regulatory landscapes and market access challenges.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards, ethical sales practices, and
- company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 6-10 years of experience in B2B sales, commodity trading, or agribusiness
- with a proven track record in agri-inputs, seed cakes, or oilseeds.
- Strong network and industry connections in the agri-commodity,
- processing, and export sector.
- Expertise in strategic sales planning, market research, and revenue
- management.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills to handle high-value
- deals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a sales
- team.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development and client meetings.
- Languages : Odia, Bengali proficiency would be a plus
