Role Description
This is a full-time on-site opportunity for a Dairy Food Application Technologist based in our Caesarea headquarters. The selected candidate will develop, test, and refine applications of plant-based casein in dairy product formulations, ensuring optimal taste, texture, and performance. Responsibilities include conducting trials in the lab and pilot plant, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting customer projects, and maintaining compliance with food safety and quality standards. Strong customer interaction is required to provide technical support and ensure satisfaction with product applications. This role is vital in advancing Plantopia's plant-powered dairy innovation efforts.
Your Day-to-Day:
Develop and prepare dairy food samples, with a strong focus on cheese, starting from recombinant casein powder.
Adapt formulations and processing protocols.
Document results clearly and consistently.
Operate lab and pilot-scale equipment and manage raw materials.
Present finished products and applications to visitors, partners, and investors.
Qualifications
One to three years experience
Independent, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
Familiarity with the Food & Beverage industry, particularly in the development and testing of innovative products
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving, collaborative team.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Biotechnology, or a related field
Knowledge and experience in Dairy Products, including formulation and processing techniques, a strong advantage
