In the context of our rapid growth, we are currently looking for a Social Media and Content Manager to lead our global social media strategy from our headquarters in Lausanne, and to coordinate content creation with our local markets internationally.
This person will join an ambitious and engaged team, reporting to the Global CMO.
Your Mission
Global social media strategy and planning
Define and drive the global social media strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, and X, aligned with brand positioning and commercial priorities.
Set channel roles, content pillars, and an ideal publishing cadence, then translate it into an actionable calendar with local markets.
Create briefing frameworks for local markets and partners, ensuring a consistent premium look, clear story angles, and strong calls to action.
Establish governance, approval flows, and escalation rules to protect brand consistency and responsiveness.
Content creation and coordination with local markets
Coordinate with Trade Marketing Managers and local teams across Switzerland, France, UAE, UK, Canada, Singapore, Morocco, and other markets as they launch.
Support local production by providing creative direction, scripts, shot lists, and detailed feedback to internal teams and external video production partners.
Create and edit content when needed, including short-form video, photo recaps, interviews, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes coverage.
Build and maintain a structured content library, including templates, guidelines, and reusable assets.
Create, organise, and maintain content within our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including uploading, tagging, versioning, usage rights, and ensuring teams can quickly find the latest approved assets.
Source, brief, and coordinate corporate content (videos, images, blog posts, newsletters, and more) in close collaboration with the HQ marketing team, then adapt and package assets for local market use.
Community management and reputation
Own daily community management across global channels, including monitoring, engagement, moderation, and timely responses.
Coordinate response guidelines with local markets and escalate sensitive topics or reputational risks with clear decision paths.
Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with partners, clients, and creators through proactive engagement.
Reporting, insights, and continuous improvement
Define KPIs and dashboards, establish a reporting rhythm, monitor performance, and share recommendations with HQ and local markets.
Track what drives reach, engagement, and qualified interest, then iterate creative, cadence, and community tactics accordingly.
Stay on top of platform updates, trends, and best practices, and translate them into practical actions for the team.
Events and partnerships support
Ensure social media coverage for major events and partnerships, coordinating capture plans with trade marketing teams and freelancers.
Create fast, high-quality event recaps and partner content that reinforces BE WTR credibility in hospitality, sustainability, and innovation.
Your Profile
3 to 5 years of professional experience in social media, content marketing, or brand communications, ideally in premium consumer, hospitality, lifestyle, or sustainability environments.
Higher education in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
Fluent in spoken and written English. French, German or Arabic is a plus.
Proven ability to create strong social content from concept to execution, with a sharp eye for premium brand standards.
Hands-on editing skills, CapCut required, other tools (Adobe suite, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) are a plus.
Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and projects across time zones, with strong organisational skills.
Data-driven mindset, able to define KPIs, read performance, and turn insights into clear next actions.
Tool savvy, comfortable working with Slack, Monday.com, Canva, HubSpot, GA4, Meta Business Suite, and similar platforms.
Proactive, reliable, and solutions-oriented, you move fast while keeping quality high and thrive in fast-paced, multi-cultural environments.
Comfortable being on-site in Lausanne 5 days a week, with availability for occasional travel and weekend events when needed.
