As Global Category Manager for Sea & Air Freight, you will take ownership of two of our most strategic transportation categories—ensuring cost competitiveness, supply chain continuity, and high‑quality carrier performance across the organization.
Building upon the foundation of our previous global logistics category structure, this role has been intentionally refocused to specialize in Sea & Air Freight. You will lead the full tender lifecycle for both modes, operate tender technology tools, consolidate carrier submissions, develop cost scenarios, and support negotiation rounds through advanced data modeling. You will also maintain contract governance, safeguard routing guide accuracy, and ensure full compliance in rate and carrier management.
This position partners closely with global and regional logistics teams, providing deep market intelligence, benchmark insights, and transparent reporting that supports operational and strategic freight decisions.

Where You’ll Make a Difference
• Lead the global sourcing strategy for Sea & Air Freight, ensuring competitive and reliable transport solutions.
• Manage end‑to‑end tender processes, consolidating carrier responses and performing cost‑scenario simulations.
• Develop dashboards and analytical reporting to support transparent, data‑driven decision‑making.
• Ensure standardization of rate cards, routing guides, and tender templates across global operations.
• Govern contracts, spot rate requests, and premium approvals to ensure compliance and cost control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, ocean carriers, and freight forwarders.
• Support logistics teams in resolving commercial issues and communicating carrier award decisions.
• Participate in Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews, ensuring performance alignment and continuous improvement.
• Conduct benchmarking and market intelligence analysis to anticipate cost trends and guide strategic decisions.
What Makes You the Right Fit
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience in Sea Freight and/or Air Freight procurement, logistics, or global category management.
• Strong analytical skills with experience managing large datasets and building insights.
• Proven track record in tender management and negotiation with global carriers or freight forwarders.
• Ability to interpret complex freight rate structures and cost models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities in a multinational environment.
