We are seeking a Temporary Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing team during a maternity leave from April through September 2026. This contract role is hands-on and highly collaborative, supporting customer experience, marketing operations, and sales enablement. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced CPG environment.
This position is based in Hood River, Oregon, with an in-office presence preferred 2–3 days per week to support shipments, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Support
Manage customer inquiries through Zendesk, including email and phone support
Monitor, triage, and respond to consumer questions, issues, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
Support rating and review correspondence across retail and online platforms
Escalate product quality, fulfillment, or safety concerns to internal teams as needed
Marketing & Sales Support
Coordinate sales and marketing product shipments for customer meetings, promotions, influencer/social media, tradeshows, and internal needs
Support sales team requests with sell sheets, samples, and marketing materials
Assist with retailer and partner requests related to marketing assets and product information
Inventory & Operations
Manage marketing inventory including sell sheets, swag, samples, and product inventory
Place and track product orders for marketing and sales needs
Maintain organized inventory storage and documentation
Support basic office coordination related to marketing materials and shipments
General Marketing Support
Provide administrative and operational support to the marketing team as needed
Assist with light project coordination and cross-functional communication
Support day-to-day marketing execution to ensure continuity during the leave period
QualificationsQualifications
Related experience in marketing coordination, customer service, operations, or a related field preferred but not required
Experience using Zendesk or similar customer support platforms preferred but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable handling physical inventory and coordinating shipments
Able to work independently while collaborating with a cross-functional team
Experience in CPG, food, or consumer brands is a plus
