Are you a hands‑on production planner with deep SAP APO/PP‑DS/IBP expertise ready to keep a 24/7 plant running smoothly?
We’re looking for a Production Planner (Short‑Term Scheduling) to own near‑term production planning and schedule adherence in our high‑volume, continuous manufacturing environment. You’ll convert demand into feasible, capacity‑balanced plans that safeguard service levels, delivery performance, and production stability while coordinating closely with Production, Q&FS, Order Management, QC Lab, and Shipping.
Our Food Ingredients business unit is dedicated to innovating improved nutritional profiles, better taste and texture, and greater cost efficiency to meet the needs of global food and beverage manufacturers. The role is based in Grindsted (on‑site). Be part of a reliable, collaborative, impact‑driven team where together we can achieve greatness and make a real impact. Your potential is our inspiration!
Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Own short‑term production planning and detailed scheduling for assigned product areas in a 24/7, high‑volume environment
- Convert sales orders and short‑term demand into feasible, capacity‑constrained plans using SAP APO/PP‑DS/IBP to balance service, inventory, changeovers, and lead times
- Drive schedule adherence and a stable production flow; monitor and act on KPIs (e.g., service level/OTIF, schedule attainment, plan adherence, inventory health)
- Coordinate daily with Production, Q&FS, Order Management, QC Lab, and Shipping to anticipate issues and keep product moving
- Support rapid issue resolution for deviations, non‑conformities, or service risks; escalate and align trade‑offs with stakeholders when needed
- Maintain and improve planning master data quality (e.g., BOMs, routings, parameters) to strengthen plan accuracy
- Contribute to continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes, data integrity, and cross‑functional ways of working
- Promote safety, compliance, and right‑first‑time execution in all planning activities
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelor’s level degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or similar field
- 3–5 years in production planning, materials planning, or plant scheduling, ideally in process/continuous manufacturing
- Strong SAP APO / PP‑DS / IBP proficiency
- Solid command of standard planning/scheduling tools and advanced Excel/data handling
- Full professional fluency in both Danish and English
- Analytical, structured, and detail‑oriented mindset; ability to maintain the overview amid many moving parts
- Clear communication skills and ability to partner naturally across operations, supply chain, and quality
- Calm and pragmatic temper under time pressure in a dynamic 24/7 environment
How Would You Stand Out?
- Demonstrated continuous improvement in planning processes (e.g., reducing changeovers, stabilizing schedules, improving data quality)
- Proven success alleviating bottlenecks and improving service levels/OTIF
- Strong cross‑functional influence skills with a track record of aligning diverse stakeholders
- Experience in food ingredients, chemicals, bioprocessing, or other compliance‑heavy process industries
- Comfortable in a 24/7 plant setting with campaigns, changeovers, and tight lead‑times
- Ability to quickly grasp complex product portfolios (e.g., emulsifiers, hydrocolloids, enzymes)
Why Choose Us?
- Shape the heartbeat of a mission‑critical production site where planning excellence directly impacts customers
- Join a purpose‑led organization committed to safety, quality, and sustainable innovation
- Work with experienced operations and quality teams that value partnership and problem‑solving
- Grow your SAP planning and advanced scheduling capabilities in a complex, continuous manufacturing environment
