Job Purpose and Impact
The Project Intern – Finance Derivatives will be part of our Finance Derivatives team in the Capability Center in Bangalore, supporting the US region. This role offers hands-on exposure to global commodity markets, exchange-listed futures and options, trade lifecycle management, financial controls, and derivatives operations within a dynamic trading environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Derivatives Operations Exposure
- Support daily trade matching, reconciliations, and position monitoring.
- Gain end-to-end exposure to the derivatives trade lifecycle — from trade execution to clearing and post-trade activities.
- Assist in end-of-day processes, system validations, and issue resolution.
- Financial Reporting & Controls
- Support preparation of operational reports and performance metrics.
- Assist in monitoring internal controls and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Analyze trade and position data to identify discrepancies and trends.
- Process & Systems Learning
- Work with financial systems used in derivatives operations.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with traders, finance, and global stakeholders supporting US markets.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
- Graduated in 2025 or graduating in 2026 only.
- Strong interest in financial markets and derivatives.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
