Key Roles & Responsibilities
Function as a Project Leader to develop new and optimized formulas supporting key clients and business strategy.
Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives to expand core capabilities, with focus on Food Science, Health & Nutrition as well as all other new capabilities. Apply scientific principles across R&D, production technology, quality control, and processing...
Collaborate with Supply Chain to link formulation to efficient commercial fulfillment and compliant production.
Support Innovation activities aligned with the organization's long-term strategy.
Communicate project progress and leverage metrics for monitoring success.
Maintain and enhance the security of all confidential product formula information.
Manage multiple priorities and timelines with strong technical and problem-solving skills. Provide technical consultation on raw materials, suppliers, and quality-related issues.
Communicate internally with other business units and externally with customers, processors, and suppliers.
Travel expectations are up to 50%.
Functional Knowledge
Deep knowledge of Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
Expertise in product development processes, from ideation to commercialization.
Understanding quality control standards, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
Business Expertise
Minimum 5 years of experience in the food industry R&D.
Strong understanding of working with large and mid-sized Protein or QSR/FS customers.
Experience in business-to-business strategy and direct customer interaction.
Knowledge of manufacturing facilities and processes.
