ABOUT THE ROLE

We produce premium Superfood products including Creamers, Coffee/Latte Beverages, Baking Essentials, Plant-Based Powders, Protein Bars, Bites, Dietary Supplements and more, all made with high-quality, clean, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. As a fast-paced company, we are expanding into several other product categories, delivering products that promote health and well-being, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
We are looking for a QA technician who has some quality experience and is eager to grow their career in QA within the food industry, working remotely to support our coffee creamers and coffee drinks, with responsibilities that include traveling by car to contract manufacturing locations as needed for quality checks, troubleshooting, and sensory evaluations, as well as occasional out-of-state travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Visit contract manufacturers to support QA activities
Perform sensory evaluations of coffee creamers, coffee drinks and other products
Assist with document control and maintain organized QA records
Conduct routine inspections of products, packaging, and processes
Track and investigate quality issues or non-conformances
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with maintaining certifications, including Kosher, Non-GMO Project Verified, and Organic
FSVP experience a plus
Learn and grow under guidance of the QA Manager, in food safety and quality
Various other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; BS degree in a related technical field (food science, biology, chemistry, or similar) is a plus
Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, food manufacturing, or document control
Sensory evaluation - required to taste coffee creamers, coffee drinks and other products as part of product evaluations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of food safety principles (HACCP/HARPC, cGMPs) and food processing fundamentals is a plus
Commitment to quality standards and ability to identify and address areas of concern
Ability to work well with others
Valid driver’s license & personal vehicle required
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Working conditions are in an office, manufacturing environment or warehouse
· Comfortable traveling by car to contract manufacturers located in UT (~2–3 days per week)
· Ability to accommodate travel to out-of-state contract manufacturing locations as required
Compensation is $55k - $85k depending on experience, education, and technical abilities
