Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Ensuring global six-sigma raw material availability to deliver 98% on-time performance to customers via operational buying, continuous improvement, and vendor management.
- Daily management of demands from 6 manufacturing plants in the Greater Asia region and managing the purchases to replenish stock including monitoring, follow-up including inbound deliveries and resolving raw material shortages.
- Liaise with the Local Supply chain planners / site supply chain managers to ensure a smooth and aligned day-to-day planning process.
- Together with the procurement department, work with vendors to improve processes and performance. E.g. delivery schedules, mutual process improvement.
- Optimization and continuous improvement of raw material availability, global inventory days, inventory write-off and obsolete/slow moving inventory.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives as the accountable person for Taste raw material planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor/ Academic degree in logistics, supply management, operations management or relevant discipline
- At least 4 years planning/operational buying experience
- Strong understanding of MRP and / or related applications in managing demand and supply and the material flow through the supply chain.
- Ability to manage expectations in an international environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders from various functions
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
