About Us
Savor is a food technology company transforming the global oils and fats industry with sustainably produced oils and flavoring systems for food, personal care, and specialty ingredients markets. We're a small, fast-moving team that cares deeply about what we build — and how we build it.
The Role
We're looking for a high-energy, do-it-all Commercial Operations Coordinator to be the operational backbone of our commercial team. This is a role for someone 2–5 years into their career who is hungry to grow, loves making things happen, and gets real satisfaction from keeping a team firing on all cylinders.
You'll report to the Head of Commercial Partnerships and work closely with the entire commercial team, playing a foundational role in Savor's growing operations function. Think of this as an early-career step toward a Chief of Staff or operations leadership role — you'll be building the skills, systems, and relationships to get there. The role breaks roughly into three areas:
Commercial systems & operations — building the workflows, tools, and processes that help a fast-moving team scale.
On-the-ground events and demo support — logistics, setup, samples, and execution.
Executive support for our business development team — calendar, coordination, and finding smarter ways to work.
We're a passionate, mission-driven team and we want someone who matches that energy — someone who's excited to show up, dig in, and be part of building something.
What You’ll Do
Commercial Systems & Operations (~1/3)
Build and maintain the workflows, templates, and processes that keep the team aligned and moving
Keep our CRM, project management tools, and shared systems running and up to date
Actively explore AI and automation tools that can reduce manual work and increase efficiency. Bring options to the table, test them out, share what works, and help upskill our team.
Logistics, Events & Demo Support (~1/3)
Work closely with our Head of Commercial Partnerships and Brand Manager on event planning, materials, and coordination
Manage sample prep, shipments, and deliveries across our SF, East Bay, and San Jose locations
Lead logistics for tastings, dinners, demos, and industry events
Handle on-site setup and execution at San Francisco events. Support events outside of the Bay Area as needed.
Work closely with chefs on demo experiences
Make sure every event reflects Savor's standards for craft and quality
Executive & Team Support (~1/3)
Support the commercial team with scheduling, calendar management, and travel logistics
Own recurring team rhythms — meeting agendas, notes, follow-up tracking
Coordinate across internal teams and external partners (designers, printers, vendors)
Proactively spot friction and bring tools or ideas to reduce admin burden across the team
Who Thrives Here
2–5 years of experience in operations, executive support, project management, or a similar do-er role
A natural executor — you take inputs and make them happen without hand-holding
High energy, positive, and excited to be part of something early and meaningful
Genuinely excited about AI, tools, and systems — you follow what's new, love experimenting, and get a kick out of finding a smarter way to do something
Organized and reliable — you follow through, communicate clearly, and nothing falls through the cracks
Comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where no two weeks look the same
Warm and collaborative — you enjoy working closely with a small, committed team
Passionate about food, sustainability, or food tech — you care about what Savor is building
