About The Role.
The Project Manager – Technology is responsible for the successful delivery of one or more initiatives across technology, digital, transformation, and business domains. This role requires demonstrated ability to plan, execute, monitor, and close projects using both Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and traditional waterfall delivery methodologies, selecting and adapting the appropriate approach based on project complexity, risk, scope, and stakeholder needs.
The Project Manager provides strong leadership across the full project lifecycle, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder alignment, and value delivery. Through team facilitation, structured planning, risk management, and continuous improvement, the Project Manager enables teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
This role operates on a hybrid working model in our Florenceville, NB location.
What You’ll Be Doing.
Project Planning & Delivery Management (Agile & Waterfall)
Lead end-to-end project delivery across Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
Select and apply the appropriate delivery methodology based on project objectives, regulatory requirements, risk profile, and team maturity.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
Execute traditional project controls where required, including stage-gate governance, baseline management, change control, and financial tracking.
Deliver Agile projects using iterative and incremental planning, balancing flexibility with predictability.
Agile Delivery & Team Facilitation
Lead Agile initiatives using Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices, ensuring alignment to Agile principles and organizational standards.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and PI-related events as required.
At times, act as Scrum Master for one or more teams while maintaining overall project accountability.
Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and promote continuous improvement across teams.
Monitoring, Control & Reporting
Monitor project execution against approved plans, budgets, and schedules.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues across Agile and waterfall initiatives.
Provide clear, concise status reporting to stakeholders and leadership, including delivery progress, financials, risks, and forecasts.
Manage deviations from plan through disciplined analysis, decision-making, and corrective action.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Build strong working relationships with cross-functional team members, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and vendors.
Lead stakeholder communication, expectation management, and decision facilitation.
Manage vendor delivery and ensure performance aligns with contractual commitments.
Support change management efforts in fast-paced delivery environments.
Process, Governance & Continuous Improvement
Follow PMO standards, governance models, and reporting requirements for both traditional and Agile projects.
Champion best practices across project management and Agile delivery disciplines.
Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness, predictability, and efficiency.
Support the evolution of hybrid delivery models across the organization.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful.
10+ years of experience in IT, digital, or technology environments with progressively increasing project leadership responsibilities.
Strong leadership and facilitation skills across diverse teams and delivery models.
Proven ability to manage projects using both Agile and traditional (waterfall) methodologies.
Practical experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Agile delivery tools.
Proficiency with project and delivery tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps)
Experience operating in hybrid delivery environments that blend Agile and traditional practices.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience managing vendor-led and contract-based delivery.
PMP certification, Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master) is considered an asset.

Compensation Package: $85,500.00 - $114,000.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
