🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Plan, manage, and oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory movement, and distribution activities.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, freight providers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock availability.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare operational reports for management.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with logistics providers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage logistics personnel while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Support business continuity planning and risk management initiatives across the supply chain.
✅ Requirements
• Proven experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, logistics software, and supply chain management tools.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers, freight carriers, and supplier relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, transportation laws, and safety standards.
• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
