Main Functions
Reporting to the Assistant Controller – Danstar Ferment AG, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in the preparation of financial statements, internal control compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position offers broad exposure to operations, industrial challenges, and a multi‑entity international environment, with strong opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for group reporting purposes
- Prepare and analyze annual financial statements for group and entity reportings
- Participate in the preparation and review of the documentation to be presented for the external audit
- Maintain, document, and enhance internal controls
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses, cross‑functional projects, and continuous improvement initiatives (process optimization, automation, data quality)
Technical skills
Required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
An asset
- Knowledge of Power BI, an ERP system, and/or a reporting tool
- Experience in a multi entity, multi currency environment
