At Mad Head Spa, we combine luxury scalp care, Japanese-inspired head spa rituals, and sensory wellness experiences designed to help guests relax, reset, and care for their scalp and hair health.
We are currently hiring licensed cosmetologists who are passionate about beauty, wellness, client care, and creating unforgettable experiences.
This is not a traditional salon environment. Our team focuses on scalp wellness, relaxation, sensory experiences, and elevated guest care in a calm, luxury setting.
What You’ll Do
- Perform luxury head spa and scalp care treatments
- Provide relaxing scalp massage and sensory wellness experiences
- Perform shampooing, scalp exfoliation, scalp treatments, and hair care rituals
- Blow dry and style hair after treatments using smooth, polished finishing techniques
- Educate guests on scalp and hair health
- Recommend professional retail products and at-home routines
- Maintain treatment room cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and client experience from start to finish
- Work collaboratively with the team in a peaceful, wellness-focused environment
Requirements
- Active Illinois Cosmetology License
- Passion for scalp care, hair wellness, beauty, and self-care
- Strong shampooing and blow-dry skills
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to create a calming, luxury guest experience
- Comfortable working weekends and flexible schedules
- Interest in luxury wellness, sensory experiences, and scalp health education
Preferred
- Experience with scalp treatments, spa services, or luxury salon environments
- Experience with blowouts and styling
- Social media friendly personality is a plus
- Passion for wellness, ASMR, relaxation, and elevated client experiences
