We are seeking an experienced Head of Agriculture to lead our production operations team based in Forth, North West Tasmania.
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing agricultural performance across the business. You will lead crop planning, agronomy, production systems and sustainability outcomes while ensuring supply aligns with commercial demand.
Working closely with the Managing Director, sales team, agronomists, contract growers and operational teams, you will play a key role in shaping the future capability of our production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead agricultural strategy aligned with business objectives
Manage farm managers, agronomists and production teams across multiple sites
Work closely with contract growers to support production outcomes and supply alignment
Oversee crop planning, yield performance and resource optimisation
Drive continuous improvement through technology, data and agricultural systems
Strengthen sustainability outcomes across soil, water and environmental management
Manage agricultural budgets, compliance and operational risk
Build strong relationships with growers, suppliers and industry partners
About You
Proven leadership experience in large-scale agricultural operations
Strong technical background in agronomy, farm management or agricultural science
Demonstrated ability to drive productivity and operational performance
Commercially astute with strong strategic decision-making capability
Passion for agriculture and innovation in production systems
Relevant tertiary qualifications
