Our team of experts is passionate about pushing the boundaries of food technology, and we are looking for a highly motivated 3D Food Design Intern to join us on this exciting journey.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a 3D Food Design Intern to join our team for a period of 6 months. In this role, you will work closely with our Engineering and Food Technology teams to develop, design, and test innovative 3D food products using our proprietary 3D food printing technology. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of next-generation food concepts while gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of food innovation, design, and technology.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Engineering and Food Tech teams to create new and exciting 3D food designs
Use 3D modeling software to develop and refine food shapes and structures
Operate 3D food printers (training will be provided)
Experiment with different materials and techniques to achieve the desired food designs
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design and printing issues
Document the design processes
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, 3D Modeling, Industrial Design, or a related field
Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g. Solidworks, Blender, Fusion 360)
Strong creative and artistic skills with an eye for detail
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
Previous experience with 3D printing is a plus (slicer operating and Klipper control)
Familiarity with food-safe materials and design considerations is beneficial
Knowledge of digital fabrication techniques is favorable
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passion for food design and innovation
