About the Project and the Business
Our client is an Italian company, part of an international group specializing in clinical nutrition and nutraceuticals, with an ongoing research focus on rare genetic diseases, bariatric surgery and nutraceuticals. It is a young, dynamic and fast-growing company, present in Italy since 2012. As part of a plan to expand its Sales Network, it is hiring new Medical Sales Representatives on a self-employed basis (Partita IVA).
Job Mission
The person will be responsible for the commercial development of their territory through the scientific promotion of the products to prescribing physicians, with a highly capillary coverage structure. Their focus is on nutraceutical products and foods for special medical purposes (FSMP), as well as the bariatric surgery area, and their activity is concentrated exclusively on prescribing physicians.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver scientific information to the medical community: Bariatric Surgery teams, Geriatricians, Gastroenterologists and Neurologists, with an intensive visit schedule (around 8 per day).
Develop and manage the prescriber database, recording activity in the CRM and producing reports.
Design and share commercial initiatives within the territory.
Build, nurture and retain the network of prescribers and KOLs across the territory.
Analyse the market response in the territory regarding the products and identify development opportunities.
Requirements
A degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology and Scientific Drug Information, or another scientific qualification entitling the candidate to practise as a Medical Sales Representative (ISF) in Italy.
Good command of the Office suite, in particular Excel.
Excellent relationship skills, precision, organizational ability and a strong results orientation.
