The Role: The Production Process Engineer will get Again's newly commissioned first-of-a-kind TXS-1 gas fermentation plant in Houston running smoothly at full capacity, assist with the design and construction of the next, larger commercial plant, and own its commissioning and startup.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production engineering for TXS-1, Again's first commercial gas fermentation plant
- - Manage engineers and technicians
- - Optimize and debottleneck production processes, including gas fermentation and upstream/downstream equipment
- - Ensure safe and smooth operation of all plant equipment
- - Oversee improvement projects and lead root cause analyses
Requirements:
- 5+ years of practical experience in production and process engineering in a plant setting
- - Hands-on experience with industrial reactors
- - BS in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or similar
- - Willing to relocate to the Houston, TX area (Texas City)
- - US citizen or work permit required
