Join our Application Research team in Bagsværd, where you'll contribute to transforming advanced science into solutions that create value for customers and consumers while supporting a more sustainable future.
You will become part of a team of 6 Scientists and 13 Research Associates focused on developing enzyme solutions for detergents. Together, we plan and execute experiments, analyze complex data, and explore innovative ways to demonstrate the value of our technologies. The role & your impact
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a key role in generating scientific insights that support research projects and innovation within detergent applications. Through practical laboratory work, digital tools, and data-driven decision-making, you will help advance enzyme technologies and contribute to developing solutions with global impact.
Your key responsibilities in this role
- Plan, execute, and conclude laboratory experiments independently and as part of project teams.
- Develop and implement scaled-down assays and analytical methods to support research activities.
- Analyze experimental data using statistical approaches and digital tools
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across research, technical support, and marketing functions.
- Contribute to the development of digital tools, automation capabilities, and efficient data management practices.
- Support a positive and high-performing work environment built on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.
What you'll need to be successful in this role
- Laboratory Technician education or an equivalent scientific qualification is required.
- Experience working within applied research is advantageous.
- Experience with statistical data analysis, large datasets, and digital tools.
- Interest in digitalization, automation, and data management.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong collaboration skills combined with the ability to work independently.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
Additional skills & interests we value
- Experience with JMP or similar statistical software.
- Knowledge of enzymes, proteins, or detergent applications.
- Previous experience developing analytical methods or laboratory assays.
- Interest in digital tools, automation, and innovative ways of working.
- Enjoyment of working across scientific disciplines and with a wide range of stakeholders.

Working conditions
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday during daytime hours. The role is primarily laboratory-based and located in Bagsværd. As part of your daily work, you will handle detergents, fragrances, and enzymes. Due to the nature of the materials used, the work environment may not be suitable for individuals with allergies to fragrances and/or enzymes.
