Customer Innovation Intern — Summer 2027
Location: White Marsh, Maryland. Hybrid / on site. Pay range: $22–$26 USD/hour.
Join Ingredion’s Customer Innovation team for a Summer 2027 internship supporting product development and US/Canada customers. Using Ingredion’s Idea Labs, you will take lab-scale concepts into the food pilot plant and create prototypes and customer-valued food solutions.
Responsibilities include managing projects and timelines; analyzing data, results, and scientific literature; working with Customer Innovation and internal experts to identify formulation challenges and develop innovative solutions; conducting research and analytical testing; presenting prototypes and project outcomes; and preparing technical reports.
Candidates should be enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field, with at least two years of coursework completed. Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer and unrestricted US work authorization are required. Ingredion does not intend to sponsor work visas or provide OPT/CPT for this position.
