As the Manufacturing Technology Engineer, you will coordinate with Rayong Team to lead debottlenecking, improvement projects and ensure environmental and industrial hygiene of the Rayong facilities. This position will be based in Rayong, Thailand and reporting into the plant manager on site.
How You Will Contribute
Ingredients Blending and Packing Process Development
- To provide support required to meet targeted blend and pack rates, quality specifications and efficiencies by providing necessary resources for troubleshooting, optimization and waste reduction.
- To digitalize the blending and packing daily data (manual record), categorize and analyse data to identify top 5 loss time to be baseline for OEE improvement.
- To lead Rayong team to implement Project - Online monitoring i.e. OEE/TEEP, blending loss time, packing loss time, packing rate, and packing weight.
- To develop and lead debottlenecking and improvement projects at blending and packing area i.e. automatic palletizer, de-lumper unit etc.
- To coordinate with the Quality and Procurement team to develop alternative specifications for alternate sources of packing material i.e. liner, box, bag, big bag etc. to meet with standard product shelf life.
- To support the Rayong team for six sigma, statistical, data analysis, root cause analysis and IFF Operating systems as Rayong knowledge centre.
- To provide Basic Technical Data for Change or Capital project and lead Rayong team to assess on Process safety, Operation and Quality perspective.
- To support IFF Process Safety Policy implementation as PSM element owner i.e. MOC Leader, PSSR leader, Process knowledge leader for dry process etc. and involve DHA/PHA on Dry process.
- To coordinate with the Quality team to develop Risk Assessment methodology for newly transferred blended products from other facilities to Rayong and propose capital project to ensure all risk levels are in acceptable range.
- To develop blend/packing recipes for all ingredient properties i.e. bulk density, odour, physical characteristics, allergen.
Quality
- To achieve corporate and customer quality standards by participating in the setting of Rayong objectives and goals toward excellence.
- To enable and support site quality and food safety improvement.
- To participate in the Annual Quality Management System Review, HACCP plan and Deviation report.
- Involving Quality system Internal audits (FSSC-22000, ISO-9001, Halal and Kosher, GMP standard) as Internal auditors.
Safety, Health Environmental
- To understand and comply with IFF EHS policies and procedures that are in place to protect employees, plant property and the surrounding environment and community.
- To ensure compliance with all IFF Process Safety Standards.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or any similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing experiences, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing.
- Effective communication skills in Effective communication skills in English language both verbal and written.
- Six Sigma certified will be advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstracts and concrete variables.
