Responsibility
Drive for business:
- Achieve Team/Individual Sales Target for selected accounts etc.
- Identify, predict and create selected accounts’ needs on new products, and advanced existing products with good business sense and cases through presenting a metrics of market trends and analysis, costs benefit and enhancement of brand integrity.
- Establish and execute accounts management strategy, forecast, planning and budgeting.
- Be a competent partner internally & externally – an expert for the Chinese market and technical knowledge relevant to accounts’ focus categories.
- Lead and manage projects to ensure that they meet deadlines and customer’s requirement through effective communication, and collaboration with key external and internal stakeholders (CI/Marketing/Creative Teams/formulation etc.)
- Manage the supplier-customer relationship through intensive network, providing client services in terms of problem solving on commercial issues, and being a business partner.
- Prepare sales report and account analysis.
Leadership & Talent Management:
- Ignite winning spirit in the sales team to maximize business growth. Passion for results and passion for the customer.
- Manage and/or mentor junior team members/peers, and onboard and coach new team members.
- Influencing stakeholders to align on shared objectives.
- Create diverse teams with an inclusive environment where employees feel valued and recognized.
- Proactively solicit and give feedback to nurture high performing teams.
Requirements
Experience:
- Between 10 – 15+ years of industry related experience with at least 3 years serving in a senior sales/commercial manager role with a strong track record and 3 years of people management experience.
- Preferred: 5+ years’ experience in dairy category.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and coordinating skills in terms of project management to meet the deadline and customers’ requirement.
- Possess strong communication skills especially interpersonal skills and influencing skills with marketing knowledge and capability.
- Strategic vision, innovative thinking, business acumen, and ability to drive and rally cross functional team.
- Manage sales team performance, ensure best sales practices implementation.
- Passion and in-depth knowledge of subject matter and product development
- Strong Proficiency with financial concepts/processes (pricing/margin/forecasting/cashflow)
- Ability to create, nurture relationships at senior levels and create opportunities for growth.
- Be capable in both oral and written English.
Academic Qualification:
Essential: Bachelor’s degree
Preferred: Concentration in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or Food Science /Biology Master’s degree
