We are seeking a technically skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. This is not a purely chemical or biotech role — it requires hands-on engineering capabilities,
strong familiarity with AutoCAD / SolidWorks, and experience in system planning,
technical documentation, and integration processes.
You will be involved in designing, implementing, and validating process systems, and play a key role in FAT/SAT, equipment optimization, and field deployment. Knowledge of process flow is a plus — but the core requirement is strong technical and mechanical engineering competence.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a builder’s mindset, technical curiosity, and the desire to grow into a central technical role supporting the CTO
About the Role:
We are seeking a technically skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. This is not a purely chemical or biotech role — it requires hands-on engineering capabilities,
strong familiarity with AutoCAD / SolidWorks, and experience in system planning,
technical documentation, and integration processes.
You will be involved in designing, implementing, and validating process systems, and play a key role in FAT/SAT, equipment optimization, and field deployment. Knowledge of process flow is a plus — but the core requirement is strong technical and mechanical engineering competence.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a builder’s mindset, technical curiosity, and the desire to grow into a central technical role supporting the CTO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical and process systems, including P&ID and FDS documents.
- Execute and supervise FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
- Lead the drafting and development of system diagrams using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specs and support system integration.
- Optimize system performance based on testing, data analysis, and field observations.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process challenges using hands-on experimentation.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and operation manuals.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and engineering partners for system deployment.
Requirements:
- Must-have: Strong technical and mechanical aptitude – "hands-on" approach is essential.
- Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, or related
- fields. Practical Engineering degree with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Experience: 2–5 years in engineering, preferably in system design, automation, integration, or
- process equipment.
- Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks. Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink –
- an advantage.
- Technical Documentation: Experience writing P&ID, FDS, and system-level specs.
- Field Work: Ability to run and evaluate FAT/SAT and lead technical troubleshooting.
- Languages: Hebrew and English – fluent written and spoken.
- Who Will Succeed in This Role:
- You think like a builder, not just a planner.
- You enjoy solving real-world technical challenges, not just analyzing them.
- You’re curious, proactive, and capable of working independently in a startup environment.
- You may not know everything about the process today — but you’re eager to learn it quickly
- on the job.
- Why Join Us?
- Work at the intersection of food-tech and deep-tech innovation.
- Play a hands-on role in shaping the future of sugar-reduction technologies.
- Join a growing team where your contributions make a real impact.
