Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Manager, located in Woodland, CA. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality management system, conducting audits, managing quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Daily tasks include monitoring production processes, developing and implementing quality assurance policies, training staff on quality standards, and handling customer complaints and feedback.
Qualifications
Experience with quality assurance and quality control processes
Understanding of regulatory compliance and certifications such as organic, Kosher, AIB, SQF Level 2, and Halal
Strong auditing and process monitoring skills
Proficiency in developing and implementing quality assurance policies
Excellent communication and training skills
Ability to handle customer complaints and provide constructive feedback
Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or related field
