Main responsibilities:
Conduct daily laboratory activities (50%)
▪ Perform testing on daily sample load, completed and reported in the system on time
▪ Prepare media, reactive solutions or other intermediates needed for the laboratory operations
▪ Ensure calibrations and verifications are completed and maintained for the laboratory equipment
▪ Maintain communication with internal customers on the status of batches (when appointed by the Supervisor or the Manager)
▪ Maintain daily review of open inspection lots and complete as needed
▪ Ensure batch notes are updated: IUO, REU, etc
▪ Escalate needs, challenges or out-of-specification issues to supervisor/manager
▪ Review and solve QC AskMe tickets
Participate in multi-functional teams (20%)
▪ Participate in teams/meetings that require quality input (FTM call, REU meeting, daily service)
▪ Able to provide instructions for advanced fixes, blend rates, and adjustments as needed
▪ Assist with Z1/Z2/Z3 investigations and participate/lead problem-solving sessions
▪ Execute/perform retest analysis for external and internal requests/programs
▪ Facilitates SAP processes troubleshooting linked to Quality Laboratory transactions
▪ Conduct EMP swabbing (if applicable for the site)
Lead/enforce continuous improvement initiatives (15%)
▪ Implement 5S initiatives
▪ Develop new methods and validate current methodologies (when applicable)
▪ Look for and implement lab improvements (including methods, procedures, and processes)
Participate in shift huddles and trainings (10%)
