The Site Technology Leader will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service effectively to all local customers and visitors within the specified offices under their sub-regional responsibility. You will provide hands-on support and apply your local knowledge and language skills to resolve IT-related issues as defined by the Service Catalog.
Customer Service and Incident Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service while handling Infrastructure and Application Incidents, Change Requests, and Services dispatched to Site Technology .
- Maintain a delicate balance between providing excellent customer service and achieving operational excellence.
Project Management:
- Participate in or lead global, regional, or local pilot and implementation projects initiated by the global IT organization .
Team Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate daily IT operational activities .
- Work well with others, promoting a culture of teamwork and shared goals around technology initiatives .
Site Support and Information:
- Assist the IT organization with site-related information and activities (client/end-user), including projects, audits, IT contracts, and IT vendor management .
- Provide ongoing support and training to ensure technology is used effectively and users feel confident and competent .
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Provide advice and collaborate with IT Management to improve:
- The work environment for Site Technicians.
- The perception of services by IT and the business.
- The value delivered to the business (improving services to increase productivity).
Automation and Technological Adaptation:
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity of business processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and adapt to new technologies.
Hardware Acquisition and Deployment:
- Manage the acquisition, inventory, and deployment of new endpoints.
- Ensure proper decommissioning of old hardware in alignment with corporate guidelines.
- Maintain inventory management levels by working with the IT procurement team.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge in a variety of IT technologies, including but not limited to: desktops/operating systems (Windows 10 and 11, macOS), LAN, remote VPN connectivity, cloud-based productivity suites (Microsoft 365, AWS), server technology, business application systems (SAP, BW), mobile devices (iOS, Android), and cybersecurity best practices .
- Understanding of generative models, deep learning, and data analysis will be crucial for creating intelligent and transformative AI applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, test, and deploy AI projects that drive innovation and add value in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence
