Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Support the Plant Manager in developing and executing the annual production plan. Define SKU costs, maintain an efficient product wheel, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure operational discipline and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency across all production activities.
- Lead and manage the production team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Coach and mentor team leaders, plan for succession, and foster engagement aligned with company values.
- Promote clear communication across all levels and maintain positive labor relations to ensure a collaborative work environment.
- Implement site safety policies and conduct audits. Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Security standards. Investigate incidents and uphold housekeeping standards.
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety guidelines. Drive “first-time right” production and maintain LEAN/6S standards.
- Execute production plans on time and within budget. Monitor key efficiency and productivity metrics to achieve operational targets.
- Oversee raw material availability and preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to minimize downtime.
- Identify, propose, and implement improvement initiatives, including capital expenditure projects, to enhance site performance.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG or food industry.
- Good understanding of production planning, LEAN principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and develop talent.
- Solid knowledge of EHS standards, GMP, and food safety compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage across all organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with a focus on operational efficiency.
