Join our team at the Chierry Location as Research Project Manager (monogastric animals)
We are seeking a Research Project Manager to join our facilities in nearby our experimental farm (CRZA). Reporting to the Scientific Coordinator, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving research and innovation projects to develop new solutions and expand the applications of existing technologies for monogastric species. This position requires strong scientific expertise, rigorous experimental skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional and international projects.
Your Responsibilities
Manage support and monogastric-focused R&D projects
Define project scope, objectives, timelines and key workstreams.
Design or supervise experimental protocols, oversee data verification, statistical analysis and scientific interpretation.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, lead project meetings and deliver high-quality scientific documentation.
Develop new experimental methods and models
Monitor advances in measurement methodologies related to priority themes.
Identify and implement new experimental methods to improve animal welfare (3R principles) and enhance data quality.
Develop new models to support R&D project needs.
Share results with R&D, Support and Marketing teams.
Lead scientific and technical monitoring
Build and maintain an international network of internal and external R&D partners.
Ensure continuous scientific and technical watch, evaluate emerging concepts from ADM R&D and propose new research directions and exploratory studies.
Identify and communicate safety-related risks.
Provide scientific support internally and externally
Support business teams and key customers on topics within your expertise.
Represent ADM R&D at conferences and customer meetings, and contribute to scientific publications and communications.
Your Profile
MSc/Engineering degree or PhD in Animal Sciences, Agriculture, or a related field, with more than 3 years of experience in animal experimentation and zootechnics.
Strong experience in project management, ideally in monogastric research.
Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
Fluent English, with excellent scientific writing and communication skills.
Strong team player with a results-oriented mindset.
