We’re hiring a Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing team. You’ll be joining our existing marketing team and reporting directly to our Marketing Manager. This is a great 360 role to learn about all aspects of the F&B business and get involved in all areas of marketing and Moving Mountains marketing activities. As a small team, you’ll also have regular contact with other departments, quickly learning how the business works and gaining cross-functional experience.
This role suits someone organised, reliable, creative and with a keen commercial insight. You must be willing to wear many hats, as a truly 360 marketing role we need a member of the team who is as happy to be sat as their desk sending emails, as they are sampling products to customers at trade shows and at activations. From starring in team content, to working with our sales team, to sourcing influencers and sending out PR packages. You will be given opportunities to lead your own projects and learn a lot.
Key Skills (Required)
A keen marketer with strong commercial instincts and understanding of end-user.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and must be reliable.
Creative and able to bring ideas to the table – design, socials, campaigns.
Good independent worker, self-starter, and able to use initiative to tackle projects and overcome challenges.
Clear communication with marketing team, agencies, freelancers and external teams.

Key Skills (Preferred)
1+ years’ experience in a marketing related role. (Ideally experience within F&B, B2B and B2C marketing).
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Slack.
Ability to use adobe (illustrator, photoshop) or other design skills.
Ability to use KlayVio for email communications.
Ability to use Canva.
Any experience in D2C businesses is beneficial to our future business goals.
Main Responsibilities
As a marketing assistant in a small marketing team, you will be reporting directly to the Marketing manager and working with our graphic designer to help deliver our marketing activities. This is a 360 marketing role, but the main responsibilities and day to day tasks you can expect to undertake include:
· Communicating with the sales team to deliver marketing requests. This may include design work to create adverts, banners, brochures etc. or coordination with our internal graphic designer. This responsibility also involves meeting deadlines and ensuring the print collateral is available and delivered to key groups.
· Basic graphic design skills such as packaging mock-ups, presentations, webpage designs (not including coding ability).
· Work with social media agency on strategy, content and ensuring deliverables are on time. Assist with ideas for content and assist in content creation, some content requires team participation.
· Create LinkedIn content plans and strategies.
· Basic understanding of WordPress, and ability to work with our website development team to keep our website up to date and build new pages.
· Assist sales team in managing marketing customer service enquiries.
· Work with Marketing Manager on PR and media opportunities, working on press releases, influencer send out and booking paid media coverage where required.
· Participate in weekly marketing catch ups, bi-weekly one-to-one check-ins and bi-weekly all hands meetings.
· Prepare to contribute and present in marketing meetings – updating other teams on socials, emails, events and general marketing activities, coordination and KPI’s
· Ability to use Klayvio to create regular content for CRM
· Assistance in carrying out market research
· Assistance in creating recipe content for socials and websites. Attending shoots and assisting with creative direction on set for recipe content.
· Supporting sales team with marketing merchandise requests for their sales events and customers.
· Recipe creation for shoots, the webpage, and collaboration
· Attend shoots and help with creative direction
· Assist with launching new D2C arm of Moving Mountains business
· Collaborate with retail partners to ensure imagery, product descriptions and branding, are up to date and up to brand standard on retail platforms.
· Help Marketing Manager with marketing campaigns creative, key messaging and activations.
Other responsibilities
As part of this role you will be assisting the Marketing Manager and eventually running Moving Mountains marketing events. Key responsibilities for running events include:
· Communicating with internal teams to book and pay for events. Ensuring invoices are paid, staff are available and stock is delivered for events.
· Research national and international trade shows, to help inform and advise SMT and sales team on attendance.
· Carry out health and safety audits and paperwork before and during events.
· Attend events in a sales capacity, which sometimes require work outside of office hours due to set up and break down times.
· Coordinate chefs, cooking equipment and stand set up for tradeshows.
· Coordinate rental of equipment from show organisers.
· Handle branding, printed materials, and promotion for events and tradeshows.
· Manage day to day running of tradeshows.

HOURS:
· Full time 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
· Flexi time available to accommodate lifestyles.
HYBRID WORKING:
· 3 mandatory office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
· Must be willing to commute to office location.
