Mission
Our mission is to decouple protein production from agricultural land and create an era of food abundance for humanity. We use natural fermentation and a renewable-energy based feedstock to produce protein ingredients. While practically all fermentation methods up until now relied on sugars - which are derived from crops grown on agricultural land - we based our fermentation platform on a feedstock which can be made with just renewable energy. This allows us to bypass the inefficiency of photosynthesis and break free of its limiting constraints.
Team
We're a small, highly technical team with diverse backgrounds from all over the world. Our brewery, R&D, test kitchen and offices are all integrated under a single roof, optimized for high speed iteration.
Role
We are looking for a motivated Food Safety and Regulatory Intern who will support us in our regulatory and quality initiatives. During this internship you will be part of an experienced team and work on food safety and regulatory topics related to an exciting and high-growth and scalable fermentation process. Responsibilities
Ensure implementation and compliance of Food Quality Systems, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and continuous improvement processes.
Assist regulatory in sample management, data collection, and other regulatory application support.
Collaborate with many internal and external stakeholders to gather information and support a positive food safety culture.
Support integration of digital quality systems to ensure traceability and document control.
Requirements
Current Master’s student in Food Safety, Quality Management, or similar.
Experience with working in a food production facility, or similar.
Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
Team player skills with excellent English proficiency.
