How You Will Make An Impact
As our new Head of Marketing, you will lead the global Marketing organisation within Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) and ensure that AFI is strongly positioned as a preferred partner in the B2B nutritional ingredients industry. You will drive and influence the full spectrum of marketing activities — from insights and concept development to global communication and event — and secure strong cross‑functional collaboration.
Your key stakeholders are the Commercial Leadership Team and other commercial leaders with whom you will ensure alignment and execution of strategic priorities.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
Lead and develop a global Marketing organisation of 14 employees, ensuring strong performance, capability building and team engagement
Drive excellence in marketing processes, execution and marketing best practice across AFI
Translate customer, consumer and category insights into impactful initiatives and marketing plans in collaboration with Sales
Develop and execute the global marketing plan including marketing budget allocation to exhibitions, media, PR and other activities
Actively support to the Commercial LT decision‑making
The role is based in Aarhus and includes approx. 20 annual travel days. The role reports to the Director of Operations & Development.
What Will Make You Successful
We are seeking an experienced marketing leader, ideally from a B2B environment. You have a genuine interest in food and nutrition. You thrive in a global organisation and know how to lead through line managment and influence across a complex stakeholder landscape.
Professionally, you bring
A Master’s degree and a minimum of 7–10 years of experience in B2B marketing leadership, ideally within an international ingredients or food‑related industry
Strong understanding of how to develop global category and consumer insights
Solid background in B2B communication and marketing execution
Proven leadership experience leading senior specialists and diverse global teams (both direct and dotted‑line)
Fluency in English.

Building strong relationships and leading effectively through influence
Are self‑driven and proactive in navigating complex strategic agenda
Have a track record of developing marketing functions
