Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Monitor import and export declarations and manage all customs documentation to ensure full compliance with laws and regulations.
- Liaise with customs authorities and carriers to ensure efficient and compliant delivery of bonded and non‑bonded materials.
- Collaborate closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure proper identification, handling, and receipt of bonded and domestic goods.
- Manage import and export processes including customs clearance, transit, excise duties, and related documentation.
- Identify, prevent, and address potential violations of customs and import/export regulations.
- Advise internal and external stakeholders on customs procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Perform preferential European origin calculations and prepare Long‑Term Supplier Declarations.
- Stay current with customs legislation, support customs investigations, and ensure compliance with AEO requirements.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Strong written English skills, with the ability to prepare, review, and understand customs‑related documentation and professional correspondence.
- Educational background in International Trade, Customs Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in customs declaration, import/export clearance, or related customs operations.
- College degree or above (Associate degree or higher) from an accredited institution.
- Possession of relevant customs brokerage or declaration certificates recognized by local authorities.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry, with solid understanding of factory‑based import/export operations and bonded materials management.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a serious, conscientious work attitude.
