Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Provide procurement support for the LATAM market with a focus on ingredients, flavors, additives, commodities derivatives and related materials.
- Lead supplier evaluation and selection based on quality, service, cost and capability for the assigned portfolio.
- Analyze business requirements and ensure reliable suppliers to guarantee assurance of supply.
- Participate in the development and execution of sourcing strategies within the Efficiency and Essential quadrants.
- Drive productivity, continuous improvement and value delivery while meeting Procurement objectives.
- Identify alternative suppliers through market research and collaboration with global Buyers, Executive Buyers and Category Managers.
- Oversee contract implementation, supplier interactions and resolution of operational issues related to quality, service, safety and supply.
- Calculate and report procurement accomplishments in the appropriate systems.
- Manage tail spend, spot/urgent buys and vendor issue resolution related to delivery, quality, pricing or invoice blocks.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Commercial Management, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement for direct materials.
- Strong command of English; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven negotiation experience, influencing outcomes with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to remain calm and effective during shortages or urgent supply disruptions.
