We are looking for an Associate Designer (Dairy) to join our creative centre in Hilversum in an onsite capacity. You will be part of a creative, solution-oriented team where we collectively make a real impact for our customers and consumers. Your potential is our inspiration.
Where You’ll Make a Difference
Assist in enabling the Design team to deliver creative solutions, managing assigned project tasks with supervision.
Build foundational knowledge of functional ingredients, flavor materials, end uses, and customer segments to enable effective solution design.
Builds and acquires design language, and articulates with others in the team
Gain exposure to regulatory requirements (e.g., GRA and legislation restrictions) and demonstrate awareness of their impact on product development and recommendations.
Refines and familiarizes Flavor portfolios search and selection techniques, plus accesses other systems supporting design (e.g. IFFman, etc.) when required Innovation & New Technology
Demonstrates knowledge of basic ingredient functionality and flavor performance in different finished products and incorporates technology appropriately
Interpret and apply consumer, sensory science, and technical data to guide design decisions and project outcomes.
What Makes You the Right Fit
1–2 years working experience in industrial food, pharmaceutical, ingredients or flavor industry Academic Qualification/Background
Minimum entry level is a University/College Degree in Food Science and Technology or related disciplines (such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Human Nutrition)
Strong interest in flavor, product design, and innovation, with foundational knowledge gained through coursework or hands-on learning.
Willingness to develop familiarity with regulatory guidelines, internal tools, and databases used in solution design and product development.
Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work well in team-based and cross-functional environments.
Positive, curious, and growth-oriented attitude, open to feedback and committed to building technical and professional skills over time.
