Driver/Shipping Warehouse Team Member

POSITION SUMMARY
The driver will work as part of a team to pack out and deliver fresh organic food and juice to local stores throughout the Bay Area. Candidates should have warehouse and packing experience, be quick learners, team players, and possess strong attention to detail. It is critical for the driver to be highly reliable, responsible, and resource-driven. This is a fast-paced job so the candidate must be able to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor during customer and vendor interactions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Reads and checks the accuracy of items picked for each order according to each packing list prior to leaving the shipping dock.
Makes deliveries in our refrigerated cold trucks on time and safely following optimized routing schedules.
Execute operational excellence by ensuring kiosks are well stocked and visually appealing to the consumer.
Ensures proper placement and care of meals when distributed to sites, including monitoring and logging appropriate temperature levels for all food.
Checks dates of products and purges all expired products from kiosks.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area and ensures the delivery vehicle is kept free of debris.
Ensure proper delivery equipment maintenance is completed as needed and perform daily pre/post trip vehicle inspections.
Follows and complies with GMPs and all Urban Remedy safety policies and practices.
Promptly report any safety or health concerns, or vehicle mechanical issues to Supervisor and Manager.
Complies with all state and federal Transportation and Health and Safety codes.
Utilizes mobile delivery apps/software to log deliveries and upload proof-of-delivery photos
Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Position-Specific Skills
Must be able to work morning shifts, 4 AM-12:30 PM. Sometimes a 3 AM start.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.
Stay organized and pay attention to detail.
Communicate effectively via all platforms.
Be punctual, dependable, and eager to work.
High level of energy and desire to be part of an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and hands-on environment.
Technical Skills Required
Safely maneuver and operate a 16-foot box truck in dense urban environments and tight loading zones.
Proficiency in using GPS navigation and delivery logging software.
Advanced knowledge of safe and proper lifting techniques.
Education/Training Required
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Must have a clean driving record for at least 2 years. (Must provide DMV printout)
Valid Class C Driver’s License. Class A or Class B licenses are a plus.
Forklift certified a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Comfortably working independently with minimal supervision.
Physical ability to perform routine deliveries, including loading and unloading via ramps or liftgates.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and push/pull weighted pallet jacks or hand trucks.
May spend long periods of time working in a cold refrigerated environment (36⁰F-40⁰F).
Sitting 50%, walking 40%, standing 10%
Ability to bend and reach overhead.
Mobility in a manufacturing environment.
