About the Role
The Sales Operations Associate will work in partnership with the Sales Operations Associate Manager, the sales team, and cross-functional partners to support the processes, systems, reporting, and day-to-day execution that keeps the sales organization running smoothly. Qualified candidates should be ready to take on multiple tasks with deep aspiration to grow and develop their sales skills and the overall Harmless Harvest business. The ideal candidate is a team player, willing to get their hands dirty, is passionate about CPG sales, and is ready to join a fast-paced team.
The Sales Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the sales organization with a wide variety of projects, reporting, and customer support. This role provides a great introduction to consumer-packaged goods sales with the opportunity for personal development and increased responsibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
In collaboration with Marketing and cross functional teams, support new item submissions, account promotional submissions, and updates to frequently used internal assets
Manage portals and data systems including IX1, 1WS, and distributor portals
Manage internal budget trackers for sales programs including broker commissions, trade shows, coupons, brokers, and sales samples
Support retail activation initiatives including demo scheduling and asset updates
Serve as liaison between the Sales team and Marketing for design requests
Support the Sales Operations Associate Manager with trade show planning and on site execution
Own end to end sales coupon creation and coordination
Manage and execute the national cooler program
Support additional sales projects as needed
What You’ll Bring
0-2 years’ experience in CPG sales, or similar roles
Extremely detail oriented and organized
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to manage a budget
Creative problem solver
Able to prioritize various tasks and work with accuracy and efficiency
Team player, willing to jump in to assist the team where needed
3 days a week in our Oakland HQ Office

The base comp range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation is determined via several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, relevant certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
