We are looking for a Global Pricing Director to lead our global pricing function and further strengthen pricing as a strategic driver of growth, value creation, and commercial excellence.
This is a highly visible role that combines commercial strategy, analytics, stakeholder leadership, and process ownership. You will lead Corbion's global pricing team while partnering closely with business leaders, regional commercial teams, finance, procurement, and product management to shape pricing strategy, enhance commercial effectiveness, and drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead the global pricing process, from pricing strategy and price setting to execution and performance monitoring.
Act as the global process owner for pricing, ensuring effective governance, consistency, and continuous improvement.
Lead and develop a global team of pricing professionals, providing direction, coaching, and capability building to create a high-performing pricing organization.
Build a strong pricing function that combines commercial insight, analytical rigor, and business partnership.
Partner with business area leaders to develop pricing strategies that support growth, profitability, and customer value creation.
Lead the ongoing development and optimization of pricing capabilities within SAP, Salesforce, and related tools and models.
Monitor pricing performance, market dynamics, cost developments, and commercial execution to identify opportunities for improvement.
Drive pricing transformation initiatives and embed best practices across the organization.
Serve as a trusted advisor to commercial leaders, finance, procurement, product management, and regional sales teams.
Build strong cross-functional alignment and influence decision-making at senior leadership level.
Establish yourself as the recognized expert and go-to leader for pricing across Corbion, driving the adoption of pricing excellence throughout the organization.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience leading and developing teams in pricing, commercial finance, revenue management, product management, strategic marketing, or a related commercial discipline.
Strong understanding of both value-based and cost-based pricing approaches.
Experience working in complex B2B environments, preferably within specialty ingredients, chemicals, industrial products, or related sectors.
Strong commercial acumen combined with analytical rigor and data-driven decision making.
Strong expertise in end-to-end pricing processes, pricing models, price realization, governance, CRM, pricing tools, and BI environments.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change across functions and regions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
A collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire teams, build credibility quickly, and drive execution through others.
A hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery.
