Role Purpose:
We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Analyst to join our Analytical Sciences team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for analytical chemistry and biosciences to build hands-on laboratory experience in a fast-paced biotech environment, supporting method development, sample analysis, and data integrity across our R&D and manufacturing programmes.
Key Responsibilities - to give you a flavour - but of course not limited to:
Perform routine and non-routine sample analysis using HPLC and other analytical techniques, following established SOPs
Support method development, qualification, and troubleshooting for analytical assays
Accurately record, process, and interpret analytical data, ensuring compliance with data integrity standards
Maintain laboratory equipment, including routine calibration and preventative maintenance of HPLC systems
Collaborate closely with R&D, process development, and quality teams to support sample turnaround and project timelines
Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, SOPs, and analytical protocols
Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant laboratory environment
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the analytical sciences function
About you:
A recent graduate (BSc/MSc) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field
Some practical exposure to HPLC (academic, industrial year out placement, or internship experience all welcome)
Genuine enthusiasm for analytical sciences and a desire to build a career in the field
Strong attention to detail and a methodical, rigorous approach to lab work
A collaborative team player who communicates well and works effectively across functions
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt in a dynamic, high-growth environment
Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple samples/tasks in parallel
