INFORS HT is hiring a hybrid Embedded Software Engineer in Bottmingen, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
• Develop, program, test and maintain modular firmware for ARM microcontrollers used in industrial automation and mechatronic systems.
• Develop software libraries and industrial communication interfaces, including OPC UA, Modbus RTU/TCP, CANopen and Ethernet TCP/IP.
• Plan and conduct system tests, simulations and automated test solutions; analyze data and troubleshoot issues.
• Support prototype development, hardware commissioning, debugging and transition to production.
• Contribute to hardware development, schematic design, component selection and system architecture.
• Maintain technical documentation and support products through their lifecycle.
Requirements include a degree in mechatronics, robotics, electrical engineering or a related field; at least five years of embedded firmware/software and hardware development/testing experience; C/C++ and ARM microcontroller experience; and strong English with German at B1 or higher.
