As the face of RLC during corporate volunteer events across Chicago, you will manage event logistics from start to finish: transport food donations and supplies, set up event spaces, present RLC’s mission and the day’s agenda to corporate volunteer groups, guide participants through activities, and lead volunteers to the delivery location for the final food handoff. You will serve as the primary contact for volunteers and organizational contacts, solve issues during events, and represent RLC professionally.
The role requires public speaking, organization, independent logistics management, reliable attendance, and the ability to transport supplies and remain on your feet during events. Availability is Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Experience in event coordination, community outreach or volunteer management is helpful.
Contract / freelance, 1099; $20/hour for hours worked, with event-related expense reimbursement. Hybrid; work must be performed in or near Chicago, IL. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
