Volunteer role (unpaid; no salary stated)
Location: Your local community in the United Kingdom. The role includes local community outreach and events.
Time commitment: 1–4 hours per week during peak times (November, December and January), with a monthly check-in outside peak months. Reports to the Veganuary Community Team.
Veganuary Champions help people take their first steps towards plant-based living through warm, welcoming community organising.
What you may do:
- Host or join a Veganuary Coffee Morning in January (headline dates are 21–23 January 2027; any January date works).
- Encourage others to host Coffee Mornings and take part in the Veganuary pledge.
- Share campaign content on social channels and bring community ideas and feedback to the team.
- Lead a group pledge on the upcoming Veganuary app and create local meet-ups to support people new to veganism.
The role is flexible and shaped around your strengths and interests. No prior experience is needed; Veganuary provides community-organising training, campaign resources and support. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
