What you’ll do
Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply, the Plant Director leads the Zanesville site for the Accelerator business and is responsible for overall plant performance, operational excellence across safety, quality, service, cost and talent development, and preparing the site for current and future business needs. The role leads organizational transformation, brand integration, and capability, culture and performance development.
Responsibilities
• Lead plant operations to meet production goals while maintaining safety, quality, food safety, service and cost performance.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; monitor financial performance and identify productivity, waste-reduction and cost-saving opportunities.
• Champion continuous improvement using Lean, TPM and problem-solving methods to improve efficiency, equipment reliability and plant performance.
• Develop and engage the workforce through coaching, succession planning and talent development.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, HR and other functions to execute strategic priorities, drive innovation and support growth.
• Ensure safety, environmental, food-safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business or related field; significant manufacturing leadership experience, including leading a plant, business unit or large functional area; experience with Lean/continuous improvement, financial performance, budgets and capital planning; and strong leadership, problem-solving, change-management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Union manufacturing experience preferred. Food manufacturing, CPG or related experience preferred.
Compensation: $178,200–$242,880 annually, with discretionary bonus eligibility. Onsite in Zanesville, Ohio. Applicants must have permanent U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
