Oishii Farmは米国 New Jerseyに本社を置く農業系ディープテックスタートアップです。
Vertical Farming (植物工場) を通し技術的にハードルの高い果菜類の量産栽培に成功し、今は業界トップランナーとして農業革新を起こしています。
今までの農業は、世界の温室効果ガス排出量の20%をもたらし、水資源（淡水）の70%を消費しています。さらに、肥料や農薬の流出によってサンゴ礁の生息する河口域を破壊しており、その結果、海洋生物が繁殖できなくなっています。また、気候変動（熱波や干ばつ）による収穫の不安定化にも直面しています。
農業問題を解決すべく、Oishii Farmは2017年に米国で創業し、収益性・ブランド訴求力・技術障壁の高いいちごからスタートしました。

#### Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Procurement to architect and execute a world-class sourcing framework that powers our rapid international expansion.
This role is about more than managing vendors; it’s about engineering a resilient, high-performance supply chain capable of sustaining our frontier technology and operational ambitions. By bridging the gap between internal innovators and global partners, you will champion cost optimization and ethical excellence, ensuring every component of our growth is scalable, secure, and built for speed.
You thrive in uncharted territory , where robotic systems, AI-driven climate control, and precision MEP integrations converge to create environments that have never been built before. Many of our assemblies and products are designed in house and are first of their kind.
★This role demands technical understanding capacity; true organic program development skills; and the ability to inspire teams under challenging timelines while navigating the unknown.
As we scale, your leadership will primarily drive the global deployment of frontier farms and infrastructure. Beyond expansion, you will engineer seamless procurement solutions for our existing sites, empowering our farm and commercial innovators to deliver the world’s BEST strawberries to partners and consumers without interruption.
What you’ll be responsible for:
⚫︎Develop and execute a global procurement strategy aligned with company objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality, sustainability, and risk reduction.
⚫︎Lead category management and strategic sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories on a worldwide basis.
⚫︎Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with global suppliers; establish and maintain preferred supplier programs and long-term contracts.
⚫︎Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, including standardization of policies, procedures, tools, and systems (e.g., e-procurement, ERP, contract lifecycle management).
⚫︎Monitor and analyze global market trends, commodity prices, geopolitical risks, and supply chain disruptions; implement proactive mitigation plans.
⚫︎Lead cross-functional teams in RFPs, RFQs, competitive bidding, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and supplier selection.
⚫︎Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost savings, on-time delivery, quality metrics, supplier scorecards, and contract compliance.
⚫︎Ensure compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.
⚫︎Collaborate with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost-avoidance reporting; deliver measurable savings and value creation.
⚫︎Mentor and develop regional or category procurement teams; foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
⚫︎Support new product introductions, capacity expansion, and make-vs-buy decisions with timely and competitive sourcing solutions.
⚫︎Manage supplier risk assessments, audits, and contingency planning to protect business continuity.
⚫︎Establish robust governance and refine purchasing workflows across existing sites to deliver seamless procurement support aligned with our core business: delivering high-quality strawberries.

【主な職務内容】
⚫︎調達戦略の立案・実行: 企業の事業目標に沿ったグローバル調達戦略を策定・実行し、コスト削減、品質向上、サステナビリティの追求、リスク低減を推進する。
⚫︎グローバルにおける直接材・間接材全般のカテゴリーマネジメントおよび戦略的ソーシングをリードする。
⚫︎サプライヤー管理・交渉: グローバルサプライヤーの選定、評価、契約交渉、関係構築を行い、優先サプライヤープログラムや長期契約の締結・維持を担う。
⚫︎調達プロセスの改善: 契約ライフサイクル管理（CLM）などのツールやシステムを導入し、ポリシー、手順、プロセスの標準化と継続的改善を推進する。
⚫︎市場トレンド・リスクの分析: グローバル市場のトレンド、商品価格、地政学リスク、サプライチェーンの混乱リスクを分析し、予防的なリスク軽減策を実行する。
⚫︎クロスファンクショナルなプロジェクト推進: RFP/RFQの実施、競合入札、総所有コスト（TCO）分析、サプライヤー選定において部門横断チームをリードする。
⚫︎KPIの設定・管理: コスト削減額、納期遵守率（OTD）、品質指標、サプライヤースコアカード、契約遵守状況などのKPIを設定・トラッキングする。
⚫︎コンプライアンス・ESGの推進: 社内規定、国際貿易規制、倫理的調達基準、ESG要件、および関連法規（汚職防止、紛争鉱物規制など）の遵守を徹底する。
⚫︎財務部門との連携: 予算策定、予測、コスト回避レポート作成でファイナンスチームと連携し、測定可能なコスト削減と価値創造を実現する。
⚫︎チームの育成・マネジメント: リージョンまたはカテゴリー担当の調達チームを指導・育成し、パフォーマンスが高く協調的な組織カルチャーを醸成する。
⚫︎新製品導入・キャパシティ拡大支援: 新製品の投入、生産能力の拡大、Make-vs-Buy（内製か外注か）の決定において、タイムリーで競争力のあるソーシングソリューションを提供する。
⚫︎サプライヤーリスク評価・監査: サプライヤーのリスク評価、監査、BCP（事業継続計画）の策定を行い、事業の継続性を確保する。
⚫︎既存拠点のガバナンス強化: 既存拠点におけるガバナンスの確立と購買ワークフローの改善を行い、当社の中核事業である「高品質なイチゴの供給」を滞りなくサポートする。
応募資格（必須）
・Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
・8+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
・Contract manufacturing experience and networks.
・Practical knowledge with a wide range of manufacturing techniques
・Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and process improvements through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
・Experience with international logistics and processes to deliver product at project location with best value.
・Strong knowledge of global supply markets, international trade, Incoterms, logistics, and multi-currency contracting.
・Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
・Demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority and influence senior leaders.
・Fluency in English and Japanese required
・Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
・Experience in industries with complex global supply chains (manufacturing, technology, consumer goods, automotive, or pharmaceuticals).
・Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, Scope 3 emissions reduction, and responsible sourcing programs.
・Advanced analytical skills and experience with spend analytics, should-cost modeling, or digital procurement transformation.
・Practical knowledge with a wide range of manufacturing techniques such as (but not limited to) injection molding, thermoforming, machining, extrusion and electrical panel manufacturing.
・Experience with international logistics and processes to deliver product at project location with best value.
・Advanced analytical skills and experience with spend analytics, should-cost modeling, or digital procurement transformation.
