Key Responsibilities
Maintain quality control documentation and records while ensuring proper archiving and database management
Coordinate sensory evaluation procedures and compile findings for management review
Monitor production processes to verify adherence to quality standards and food safety protocols
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements and corrective actions
Support compliance with regulatory requirements including HACCP and food safety standards
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Food Science or equivalent field
Minimum 2 years' experience in food manufacturing quality assurance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with ERP/WMS systems
Strong communication skills with fluency in English (Spanish proficiency beneficial)
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing and walking throughout the shift, with regular bending, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift/move items up to 50 lbs. Required PPE includes lab coats, safety glasses, hard hats, and slip-resistant toe-protection footwear.
