Are you detail-oriented, precise, and enjoy hands-on work in a scientific environment? Join our dedicated team in Brabrand as Sr. Laboratory Technician and play a vital role in supporting our food enzyme research and development efforts!
In this position, you will be responsible for weighing and preparing enzyme samples with high precision for both internal application trials and external customers. You will blend enzyme test samples containing up to nine components in quantities ranging from 200 to 3000 grams, using batch sheets and Excel templates to ensure accuracy. In addition, you will maintain our enzyme storage, keeping it well-organized and monitoring best-before dates to ensure product quality.
Your role will also involve handling global sample dispatch including the part of the task with blending test samples. Handling sample dispatch also includes completing documentation, such as invoices and safety data sheets. You will support general lab operations by preparing buffers and assisting with other simple laboratory tasks when time allows. Throughout your work, you are expected to stay observant and report any irregularities in materials or blends, helping us maintain the highest standards in our processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- A background in laboratory work is a plus (e.g., trained laboratory technician), but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Comfort with routine, hands-on work and a sense of pride in precision
- Experience with Excel and basic documentation processes
- A proactive mindset and willingness to support the team wherever needed
