In this position, you will be part of IFF´s VAT team, supporting IFF entities across EMEA and LATAM. You will ensure VAT compliance processes are followed and provide support and legal advice.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze complex VAT data, prepare and submit accurate VAT returns and related filings
- Prepare and deliver quality financial reports as required by internal or external requirements
- Initiate further investigations and corrections when applicable.
- Perform the VAT closing activities and resolve subsequent queries.
- Calculate and post accruals, revaluations, etc.
- Keep up to date on Legislation related to VAT and other informative returns in the country under responsibility (Continuous Professional Education)
- Participate on internal and external financial audits. Support the local and tax organization particularly in case of tax audits.
- Participate in special projects either based on business requests for support or internal team projects for continuous improvement of processes and data quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Minimum of three Years of Experience in TAX/Finance
- Advanced knowledge of SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Business proficiency in English.
- Alteryx knowledge.
- Power BI knowledge.
- Additional languages will be considered a plus.
